Copywriting intern in the HP client team
The copy crew welcomed me from day 0—and, for six months, supported my professional and personal development.
I worked mainly within the HP client team. Tuesday Chutter (senior copywriter) was my supervisor.
The experience at Media.Monks taught me how to write effective scripts for product videos, snappy copy for social posts, strong short copy for gaming newsletters, informative projects cases, and so on.
Besides that, I became familiar with collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment, deciphering briefs and illustrating the work to clients. Finally, I mastered the secret art of addressing feedback.
Here are some highlights of the projects I took part.
A script that flows
I collaborated on the ideation and early script for this product video for an HP laptop targeting Gen Z.
After researching the language usage of Gen Z, I found out about the emerging concept of "flow". So I started to write down a few opening questions based on this idea, one of which appears in the video.
We wanted to express the idea of a laptop as a powerful tool enabling users to follow their passions.
Keeping it short
These three banners are a small sample of hundreds of social media assets for a keyboard and mouse combo. Social posts, headlines, carousels, reel scripts, and banners—for two different audiences.
During this project, I dealt with never-ending feedback and had to accept that sometimes your favourite copy doesn't survive.
Security supposes serious copy
Wolf Security is HP's cybersecurity service for companies and institutions. The ask for this project was to adapt a previously successful DM kit to a new target audience.
On this occasion, I was the principal copywriter for this task and collaborated with the Argentinian team.
To address the new target audience, I substituted the main keywords and reworked the headlines. I rewrote a substantial part of one of the brochures to replace services the client wanted to remove.
In addition, I presented the work at the meeting with the client. The copy was approved after a round of feedback. It was a personal success.

Writing for gamers
Working on HP OMEN was a lot of fun. The ask was to write short game descriptions and other rewards for the OMEN Hub, newsletter and social media.
How to say what's in the game and make the users want to play in just 2-3 sentences? My solution was tailoring the copy on the TOV of the game, adapting the style according to the genre.
The big missing: MM project cases
A task that helped me improve consistently during the internship has been writing 100 words cases on projects Media.Monks' completed.
Having less space and a lot to say has improved my word economy.
Since these are kept confidential for now, I can't share them. I participated in many other projects—you can find an overview at the bottom of this page.
Last words
I gave my best to this internship, and I enjoyed every moment of it. In return, it taught me more than just hard skills. I met wonderful people who will always have a place in my heart, on which I left a good impression too.
I want to thank those who gave me a chance, who supported me during the journey, and all the friends I met along the way.
